Ltd., founded by Dr. Ch V Surya Narayana Reddy and led by Prof. Chandramouli Padmanabhan of IIT Madras, is a deep-tech company specializing in acoustics, vibration, and structural shock solutions. We provide consultancy, design, and product-based services across buildings, infrastructure, industry, and defense. Our work spans creating acoustically optimized spaces like airports, hotels, offices, and residences, delivering metro and railway vibration isolation systems, and designing industrial noise and vibration control for diesel generators, chillers, and heavy equipment.
In the automotive and defense sectors, we offer NVH analysis, naval shock isolation, and acoustical stealth solutions using advanced modeling, field testing, and innovative materials like acoustic metamaterials. Combining research-driven expertise with practical engineering, TARANGAA delivers reliable, high-performance solutions tailored to India’s unique noise and vibration challenges.

Chairman’s Note
Over the past three decades, my journey through academia, research, and industry has revolved around one core idea: using the language of science and engineering to solve real-world problems in vibration, acoustics, and structural dynamics. From nonlinear gear systems to fluid–structure interactions and acoustic metamaterials, I’ve had the opportunity to work at the intersection of complexity and practicality.
At IIT Madras, I’ve mentored several brilliant minds, including Dr. Ch V Surya Narayana Reddy, whose deep commitment to acoustics and noise control laid the foundation for TARANGAA. What began as a shared academic vision has now evolved into a deep-tech company with national significance.
TARANGAA was created to respond to India’s rich and evolving sound and vibration landscape—dense urban soundscapes, spiritual and cultural diversity, industrial evolution, and defense modernization—by delivering engineered solutions grounded in rigorous research and indigenous innovation. As Chairman, I lead our R&D efforts in experimentation, simulation, modal analysis, and advanced materials like low-frequency metamaterials, ensuring our solutions are not only effective but forward-looking.
This company stands for more than consulting—it is an engine for knowledge translation, a platform for homegrown technologies, and a mission to position India as a global contributor in vibro-acoustics.
Founder’s Note
Over the past 15+ years, I’ve had the privilege of working across the breadth of acoustics, noise, and vibration engineering—from building acoustics, automotive NVH labs and metro rail corridors to industrial machinery and monumental public spaces. Throughout this journey, one insight became increasingly clear: global solutions often fall short when confronted with India’s unique acoustic realities.
Our country’s dense urban fabric, cultural richness, extreme noise events, and low-frequency vibration issues demand more than imported fixes—they require homegrown engineering, deeply rooted in the science of our soil.
It was this conviction that led me to establish TARANGAA—not just as a consultancy, but as a platform to design, validate, and manufacture high-performance acoustical and vibrational solutions tailored for India. From day one, I’ve been fortunate to be mentored by Prof. Chandramouli Padmanabhan, whose unmatched depth in vibro-acoustics and visionary research mindset have shaped the technical DNA of our company.
With his continued guidance, TARANGAA aims to bridge academia and application, combining rigorous analysis, experimental validation, and material innovation to tackle the most demanding acoustic and structural challenges. Our vision is to make India a global leader in intelligent, indigenous vibroacoustic engineering—not just meeting standards, but setting them.
