Our journey began with a clear understanding—India’s sonic and structural landscape is vibrant, dynamic, and unlike any other. From the pulse of urban metros and rail corridors to the hum of diesel engines and data center equipment, from the celebratory sounds of cultural gatherings to the low-frequency signatures of naval machinery—every environment presents its own acoustical signature. At TARANGAA, we don’t see these as problems to suppress, but as design challenges to solve—intelligently, indigenously, and impactfully.

Conceived by Dr. Surya Chintapalli, a Ph.D. in Acoustics from IIT Madras with over 15 years of applied consultancy experience, and Prof. Chandramouli Padmanabhan, a renowned academician and researcher from IIT Madras with decades of expertise in structural dynamics and acoustics, TARANGAA blends academic depth with practical execution.

TARANGAA is built on decades of interdisciplinary expertise, with a portfolio of 150+ high-impact projects across India and beyond. Our team has shaped acoustics and vibration solutions for government institutions, airports, cultural centers, metros, industrial plants, automotive systems, and naval platforms.

From designing immersive soundscapes for landmark buildings to engineering vibration isolation in high-speed rail and stealth systems for defense, our work reflects one core belief: acoustics and vibration challenges demand custom, science-driven, and context-aware solutions—not one-size-fits-all fixes
